Your rights

We collect only the information we need to respond to your submission, enquiry or application: your name (optional for anonymous story tips), contact details, the content of your message and any files you choose to attach.

Submissions are stored in a private, access-controlled vault. Only the production or business team assigned to your submission type can open it. We never sell viewer information.

Moja Love processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box on any form on this site.

You may withdraw consent, request a copy of your information, or ask for deletion at any time by quoting your submission reference number. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

Special personal information (health, criminal or minor-related detail) shared in a story tip is processed only for journalistic purposes, subject to editorial and legal review before any broadcast.

Our Promotion of Access to Information Act manual sets out the records we hold, which are automatically available and how to request access to the rest.

Information officer requests can be lodged through the contact page and are acknowledged within 5 working days.

By submitting material you confirm it is truthful, that you have the right to share it, and that Moja Love may contact you to verify it before any production decision is made.

Moja Love subscribes to the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa code. Complaints about broadcast content should be lodged with our compliance team through the contact page, with the show name, date and time of broadcast.
